Michael Armitage Obituary

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, March 7, 2012, Mr. Michael Anthony Tony Armitage, age 45 of Hephzibah. Mr. Armitage was a native and life long resident of the Augusta area. He was a graduate of Augusta Area Technical Institute in Heating and Refrigeration. Tony was a loving son and brother. He was a proud member of AA. Family members include his parents: Homer and Jonaquine Armitage; brother: Patrick Cory Armitage and wife Jessica; grandmother: Marian Armitage; niece: Evangeline Armitage; ex-wife: Holly Armitage and stepson: Aaron Miller. He is survived by many loving aunts and uncles in Florida, Ohio and West Virginia. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 4:00 until 5:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
