Charles Loomis Obituary

Charles L. Loomis, Sr., 4-8-1919 Chadwick, MO 5-6-2011 Whatcom Co. Charles had a full and active life enjoying hard work and playing good ol' country western music with his many friends. He is survived by his daughters, Charlotte Loomis and Deborah (Dave) Chapman; sons, Chuck (Judy) Loomis and Ron Loomis; and grand- daughters and grandsons. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; son, Larry; and daughter-in-law, Susan Sterud Loomis. A special person in his life is Phyllis Hallmark. They spent a lot of time traveling, dancing, sing- ing, and just enjoying each other's company for the last fourteen years. A special thanks to Geeb for being a great friend to our father right up to the end. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 13, 2011, at Moles Greenacres Fune- ral Home with burial to follow in Moles Green- acres Memorial Park. i will miss you most of all charlie. i will miss your coming to the airports to say good bye to us. i will miss your singing and helping austin to learn the guitar. you were and are still very dear to my heart. love you charlie

We are so sorry to hear that Charles passed away. He did live life to its fullest. He was a great uncle. We had lots of fun times dancing and playing music. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
