Joseph J. Kopec, 91, of Arlington Heights, beloved husband of Lottie (nee Cieslicki); loving father of William Stawasz, Susan Johnson and James Stawasz; loved grandfather of Jami Johnson. Preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley, Mitchell and Walter. Joseph was the owner for 54 years of Colonial Opticians on Laramie and Diversey. Visitation 3 to 8 p.m., Sunday at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd ., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Prayers 10:15 a.m., Monday at the funeral home to Our Lady of the Wayside Parish, 450 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
