To the McDaniel Family: I am greatly sorry for your loss. I only knew Nick for a short time but I enjoyed every minute I spent with him.I remember when I first met him at PBSC he instantly made my day better. He was such a happy guy with nothing but great things to say. He gave the best advice when I needed it. He was a good man with a good head on his shoulders and a smile on his face 24/7. My blessings and prayers go out to you. I will miss him greatly.

Dear Alyce & Jim,
Both Joe and I are profoundly saddened by the loss of your precious son, Nick. We send you our deepest sympathy and are praying for your broken hearts.

I wanted to share with you how impressed I was when I had the opportunity to meet Nick. He had such a warm and inviting presence about him. He was such a polite young man with a smile that could light up a dark night. The last time I saw Nick, he and Jim gallantly came to my rescue as I had locked myself out of my house. He was so kind and made me feel so much better. It was a pleasure to have met his joyful spirit and experienced his kind heart. We know how much you cherished your son. Our hearts ache for you and pray that you will feel God's loving embrace, comfort, and strength (as only "He" can provide).

"Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

I received news of Nick's death only minutes ago. Nick and I were friends since Murray Middle School, where I always thought of him as a diligent, daring and trustworthy guy. I will miss him dearly.
