I first met Jackie in 1969 when I was hired as a Lab Helper at the original St Lukes Hospital. I was only 18. 30 years later I met her daugher, J., when I worked for Lutheran Medical Center's Homecare and Hospice programs. We somehow shared worked history and realized we were connected in this way. I became friendly again with Jackie as she was a Hospice volunteer. She was always a good, kind, gentle lady with a wonderful sense of humor. Kind to me when I was young and even more special to me as the grandmother I now am. She was a very capable and helpful member of our Hospice team - always had a smile on her face and a "can do" attitude. She will be remembered by me - always - with affection.
