Gary, Carla, I am so sorry to hear that you've lost a precious child! By chance, I was on Facebook and somehow saw the obituary. I don't know what you and your family must be feeling, as I've never lost a child, but did lose my husband of 43 years recently, so I am well acquainted with grief. Please know you are in my prayers for the peace that passes all understanding. May our God bless you all!

As hard as it is to think that we have to go on without our loved ones, we have to realize that they are now in a better place than we are. Please know that she is in Heaven looking down on you and smiling as she runs and plays. Take heart in knowing that some day you will be with her again.

I will remember beautiful Alisha's smile and how comfortable she always was in the care of her parents and caregivers. Alisha touched and inspired me, as have Carla, Gary, and Kay. I remember your mom opening her home to me and being such an amazing mother to her. There wasn't a second that went by that your mom wasn't with her or checking on her. and Josh you were and are an amazing brother. Your sister was very lucky to have you both. She was such an amazing young lady. I remember how we'd put in Fraggle rock and she'd sit there and get so focused on it and be happy. She was a strong young lady . Now she is home with God and watching over all of you.

Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers. It means alot to my whole family to know that we have so many people praying for us and helping out in a time such as this. On behalf of my Mother, Father and my Big Sister I say thank you and May god bless you. My sister was a wonderful little girl who was also the strongest person i have ever met. But i thank god that she will never have to have another surgery or go through any more pain. My little sister always wore a smile on her face, no matter how much pain she was in. My Sister is and will always be my hero

I had the great pleasure of meeting Alisha a few times when she was with Kay, and she sure brought joy to all who were around! I am very saddened by the news of her going Home to our Lord and Savior but we know now that she is even happier than she was down here! Prayers going up for all the family and all the friends and also all the caregivers who grew to love her as a daughter!

I got a note from Janet telling me your daughter had died. I am so sorry, I know the her loss hurts a lot. Even when you know it is best for Alisha, it still is hard for you. It always hurts to lose someone you love!.

Chambers Family,
I have never seen, heard, or ever knew of this little lady-however just from the entry and well provided description..I feel as though I can see her, I imagined her nephew running and jumping in her arms, with those drooling kisses of his - All over her high perched cheeks (from the smiling (Love))- and the warm smiles that made him all warm and googly inside. WOW! what an awesome person she must of been!! Please accept my most sincere condolences ... I have experienced this same exact angel in my family (Never saw a tear). WOW what a BEAUTIFUL ANGEL she had to be, such a rare flower. I just can't believe how moved I was to JUST reading about this young lady.. rest assured she's still smiling ;-}
