Daniel McGONIGAL Obituary
Daniel McGonigal was granted his angel wings on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the age of 75 years.
Daniel will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his two daughters Karen LeMottee and Sheila Latawiec, his grandchildren Laura-Lynn (Martin) Doucet, Clayton LeMottee (Tara) and Raelene (Benjamin) Farrer, as well as his four great grandsons: Chance Doucet, Dominic LeMottee, Leeland Doucet and Jaxson LeMottee. His siblings Archie (Merilyn) McGonigal, Bernard (Peggy) McGonigal and Maureen (Victor) Levasseur, his aunt Theresa Duffy and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Lillian McGonigal, his parents Archie and Ellie McGonigal, his sister Margerat Bitz, and his great granddaughter Charity Doucet.
Special thanks to the staff of the Royal Alexendra Hospital, Robbins Pavillion 6E for their care of Daniel and consistent kindness shown over the last month.
Prayer Services will be held on Friday, Feburary 24, 2012 at Connelly McKinley Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m., 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert. Celebration of Daniel's life will be held on Saturday, Feburary 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetary 14611 St. Albert Trail.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Society 201, 9452 - 51 Avenue NW Edmonton AB T6E 5A6.
