Rev. Dr. Katherine P. “Pastor Kay” Keller, 62, who became pastor of Augustana Lutheran Church in Phoenix in 1992, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, 2000, 3-9 p.m., at Mercer Chapel, 1541 East Thomas, Phoenix. Further visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 17, 1 p.m. until time of services at Augustana Lutheran Church, 2604 North 14th Street (14th Street and Virginia Avenue). Services will be presided by Bishop Wennes. Pastor Kay has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial trust fund set up in her name to continue her mission in the city at Augustana Lutheran Church, 2604 North 14th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85006.
