It has been a year Dad, and seems like I just seen you yesterday, or heard your voice telling me, always, how proud you were of me. I forever, want you to be proud. I miss your laugh, your hugs and your beautiful soul. I know you will be with me today and every day keeping me strong. I love you and miss you Dad.

As I wiped the tears from your eyes, and ran my fingers through your hair I could only imagine the pain that you were feeling and what you were going through. I thanked God for every minute that He gave us to be with you during your last hours here with us. I will always cherish the good and the bad but those few hours will stay with me forever Russell. When you came to me in my dream and you were with Gordie I felt a sense of happiness because I knew then you were finally in a place free of all the pain and suffering that you had gone through in this life. I hope that I had helped you find the answers that you were looking for and found a reason why. I hope that you can pass that reason on to us. I will always remember the kind and giving man you were,as well as many others we will never forget what you gave us in life and will share those values with others. You will always hold a special place in my heart as I did yours. I will always believe that God brought you back to us for a reason, and that reason is because you belonged here with the people that believed in you and loved you for who you were no matter what, this was home. Bye for now, until I see you again Love Dorothy

I miss you more than words can say..The part I hate the most is the fact that as I grow older it seems to me that the people I love and care about are slowly being taken away from me. I always said you were the closest thing I had left to my dad. Your gestures, your commments, and often our talks would make me think if he were still here he would have said a lot of the same things you did. I Loved how you could always make me laugh so hard I would be in tears, I loved how you mumbled random things all the time, and I loved that you were YOU. Im so glad I was able to spend the last 2 weeks with you while you were on this earth, I will cherish every single moment close to my heart. I hope you made it to where you were going, and I hope you and dad are finally at rest together. Rest Easy uncle. Love your one and only Nina Bug xoxo
