CARROLL, Lance Joseph
Lance Joseph Carroll, 66, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of East Haddam, passed away on January 17, 2012 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Fredericka Ault Carroll. Lance was born in Hartford on February 15, 1945, the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn Carroll of Unionville. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was employed by Connecticut Light and Power and retired in 2003. He was a resident of Boynton Beach, FL since 2007. He is survived by his five children, Christopher Carroll, Dawn Kenney, Denise Carroll, Doreen Andrews, Kadian Carroll; and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Cochrane; and his brothers Stuart and Wayne Carroll. Lance will be greatly missed by his family and friends; he was an avid bass fisherman who loved being on the water.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the American Legion in Marlborough, CT.

Kaduna , I mailed out a holiday card to you this year and was returned to me . I have been thinking about you as it was your birthday Dec 25 , Happy Birthday . Your Mom made us holiday stockings many years ago and we use them every year , they have crabs on them as that is Casey and Ashley s last name . Hope all is well with you and your family . My sympathies to Lance's family. He and I have been friends for over 25 years, and spent many hours fishing together. I will cherish those memories. Until we meet again, old friend.

I'd like to offer my condolences to Lance's family. Lance and I were friends for 45 years from the time we started working at CL&P. I'll miss you old friend, as I'm sure many others will. God Bless
