Wanda Chase Obituary
Of Portage
Wanda passed away Sunday morning, November 21, 2010 at Heartland Heath Care
Center. She was born April
30, 1932 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Walter and Lela (Love) Spitzner. On August
7, 1950, she was united in marriage to Donald Chase, who survives. Also surviving are their five children, Cheryl (Doug) Leversee of Kalamazoo, Donald Chase Jr. of
Climax, Judith (Bob) Farnham of Climax, Laura (David) Soderquist of Galesburg, and Michael (Laura) Chase of Portage; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; one brother, James (Roberta) Spitzner of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Wanda will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday (tomorrow) at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave., with
Rev. James Dyke officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 PM on Tuesday (today) at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Memorial contributions may be directed to America Parkinson's Disease Association or American Diabetes Association. Please visit

I'm sorry for your loss. It's been 12 yrs since my mom passed away and the pain is still there sometimes but not like the first year. Allow yourselves time to grieve and all the emotions that go with it and then you will gradually be able to remember all the good times you had together.
