I never met Zach personally, but I learned of him through his friend Evan Erwin, and of the fact that he's no longer with us. I have already lost a number of friends and fellow soldiers through the Army, and I know that feeling of emptiness. I'm sorry.
There really isn't much I can say that wouldn't sound wooden or contrived; it's a horrible situation no matter how you look at it. I just wanted to say, at least, that I'm with you in this.

I remember zach
West philadelphia born and raised, in the playground is where we spent most of out days. Chilling out maxing relaxing all cool and all shooting some b-ball outside of the school.

I can not tell you how shocked, sorry and saddened I feel right now. I was always fond of Zach, he reminded me alot of myself when I was young.

I was one of the people that knew Zach as Shiny. I remember thinking the first time I ever propped my arms on the counter of CM, that there was something special about him. I sat up many nights talking to him and I miss that. I miss his laugh because whenever I heard it I couldn't help but laugh along. He was so sweet, probably one of the nicest guys I ever met. I don't think he realized how much he really meant to everyone he knew and how much he was loved. I'm gonna miss him. I'm terribly sorry that this has happened. I keep his family in my prayers and his memory close.

I was friends with Zach for many years. Though the last time we spoke was not on the best of terms, I regret that I will not be able to see him again. God bless you in this time of grieving.

My son worked with and went to school with Zack "Shiny". He thought a lot of him, and was terribly upset to learn of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Zack will be missed by his friends, and those who loved him. May God bless you through this difficult time.

Dear Molly, I used to baby-sit you and Zach alot when I was a student at CHS and you two were just little guys. Zach was such a beautiful child, and grew to be an even more handsome young man. He will never ever be forgotten. I am thinking about you and your parents so much right now.

Dear family of Zach, first of all, I am a friend of his. He was in my Latin class. We all have very fond memories of his smile and the smiles he gave us. He will be greatly missed more than anyone will ever know. Although he won't be with us physically, each one of us will hold part of him with us.

I am so truly saddened to hear about the loss of Zach. I have so many wonderful memories of Jordan and Zach when they were younger. Molly I know we don't see each other and life has taken us on different paths but I am still here for you if you need anything at all. David and Alice, you are amazing people and hold a very dear place in my heart. Life can be so hard at times especially during times of loss but your family is loved and if I can do anything please let me know.

I also cannot express enough how sad I am to hear this news. Zach will be greatly missed. "Shiny" -as I knew him, was a bright young man and great judge. I know all the guys down at the card shop will miss him very much, as will I.
