Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Vicki, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of great loss. Our parents' generation was dedicated to the core values that helped to lay the strong foundation of our nation. It saddens me to know that another great man of that generation is no longer physically with us.

The memories of your dad's kind and smiling face are still vivid memories of my childhood. I hope I have been able to instill the values our parents held dear into the hearts and minds of my children. From the accomplishments of your children, I believe you have.

With love,

Laura Lowe

Vicki,
I was so sorry to learn of the death of your father. I know that he was proud of you and that you loved him very much. Even though you know you will be with him again, it is difficult to let go of your family and there will be a hole left in your heart. The only consolation I can offer is that you and your children are his legacy and his life is reflected in the blessings you give to others. Your friendship has always been a blessing to me. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Love you, Vicki.
