By far you were one of my craziest firends. But thats what i always liked about you. you never new what was going to happen next or what was going to come out of your mouth. But you always made me laugh. Im really upset that these last couple of years we lost touch and did not get the chance to talk as much. But you know i love you and will never forget you not only were you a great person you were a great friend<3 Rest in peace

Dear Mulherin family,
My name is Carlos Cuartas, and I am a chaplain at Memorial Sloan Kettering where I had the privilege of meeting many of you during Alex's hospital stay, specially Rebecca and Krista, and of course Alex.
I wanted to let you know that I am praying with you and for you. I never met Alex as a healthy young man, but your stories of him and the pictures certainly say much about what kind of awesome person he was. Let your memories of him console you and your tears soothe your pain. Jesus cries with you.
All blesings, and remember always: Love never dies!
Peace,
Carlos Cuartas

My dear friend Rebecca,
There are no words that can make you feel better at this very hard time. It was a real pleasure becoming a mother for the first time with you. I will always remember your trips to PA and Michael and Alex playing together.Just always remember that I love you and you will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Alex, we only knew you for a short time and are honored and proud to have met you. Mrs. Mulherin you did a wonderful job of raising a fine young man. Krista, no words can heal your heart right now, but know in time the hurt turn to loving memories of Alex and that he will always be by your side and in your heart.

Alex was like a little brother to me at the Ducks. I'm happy to say that I knew him and I'm so glad that I was able to give him a chance to work as a "black shirt" on the promo crew. He will always be remembered for his smile and his ability to make me laugh no matter what mood I was in. I'm so sorry for your loss. Stay Strong...

My heart will never be the same. Losing you has left a void that no one can EVER fill. Since your diagnosis, your strength and determination throughout your treatments was remarkable. You NEVER gave up even after all the doctors did. I am in awe of your heroic strength. I will miss you! I love you, ALWAYS & FOREVER<3 Your choice of Fiancee was a perfect one. Krista gives a new meaning to what "Loving someone" is all about. She WILL always be my daughter~in~law!
