AARON MICHAEL McNEW MICHIGAN CITY, IN
Aaron Michael McNew, age 22, of Michigan City, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend from injuries suffered in a car accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Queen of All Saints Church with Father Frank Torres officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Stanislaus Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Root Funeral Home. Aaron was born March 25, 1989 in Michigan City to Michael William McNew of Michigan City and Linda (Huseman) McNew of Michigan City. Surviving are two sisters: Kelley (William) Gertner of Michigan City and Jennifer McNew of Michigan City; one brother, Kyle (Lea) McNew of La Porte; stepmother, Dea McNew of Michigan City; and paternal grandmother, Loene McNew of Michigan City. Preceding him in death are his grandparents: William McNew, Andrew and Mildred Huseman; and cousin James Newman. Aaron attended Ivy Tech Community College. He loved spending time with family and friends and play cards. He enjoyed life and was a big Nascar fan. He loved the beach, animals and was happy go lucky.
