Born in Reading on July 20, 1933, the son of the late Paul S. and Anna E. (Mock) Moyer. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Paul was employed by the M&M, Penn Yan and Conway trucking companies for many years as a driver. He was also employed by the former Dee Cee Mechanical Company and most recently by the Cramp Funeral Home Inc. Paul was a retiree of Teamsters Local #429. He was instrumental in the initial dedication of the Korean War Memorial in City Park.
Paul was a thoughtful, caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters: Cindy L., wife of David L. Wagner, Hampden Heights; Lynn M., wife of Michael S. Wentzel, Muhlenberg Twp.; and Laurie A. Moyer, companion of Gregory R. Geiger, Reading. Also, one sister, Jane E., widow of Robert D. Krick, Glenside. There are three grandchildren: Christopher J., husband of Shannon E. Celmer, Blandon; Melissa L., wife of Carl A. Furillo III, Sinking Spring; and Lindsey A., wife of John H. Miller, West Lawn. Two stepgrandchildren, Robert S., husband of Heather M. Wagner of Leesport and James M., husband of Jennifer G. Wagner of Charlotte, N.C. also survive. Paul also has ten great grandchildren: Morgan E. Wagner; Carleigh A. Furillo; Rayanna P. and Riley C. Celmer; Mia F. Furillo; Andrew J., Maylynn M., Austin M. and Adam B. Wagner and Cecilia A. Miller. He was also predeceased by a sister, Alta M. Bennethum.
Funeral Services are private. Inurnment in Charles Evans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, Pa. 19605 or the Lebanon V.A. Medical Center, 1700 S.
