Danny Swain

SWAIN, Danny E., 61, of Disputanta, passed away May 12, 2011. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine T. Swain; and his father, Lesley E. Swain. He is survived by his wife, Aleta L. Swain; two children, Cheryl S. Day and her husband, Roger; son, Benjamin E. Swain and his wife, Kim; his mother, Edna Swain; a sister, Gail L. Swain; four grandchildren, Brittany, Madison, Whitney and Riley; two sisters-in-law, Terry Rogers and her husband, Phil and Betty Mobley and her husband, Russell; two stepsons, Christopher Mitchell and his wife, Julie and Jason Mitchell; a stepdaughter, Samantha Mitchell-Dix and her husband, Edward; seven step-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends. Mr. Swain was retired from Carpenter Company. His remains rest at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, and where a funeral service will be held 12 noon Tuesday. Interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association and or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
