Ruby Gibson

GIBSON, Ruby Mallory, 91, of Buckner, passed away August 11, 2010. She retired after 39 years as a public school teacher. She is survived by her son, Herman L. Gibson Jr. and his wife, Hilda, of Bumpass, Va.; three grandchildren, Sherry Gibson, Janet Gibson Wade and Michael Lewis Gibson; four great-grandchildren, Michaela and Kolby Gibson, Sydney and Bradley Wade. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. August 14, at Little River Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tim Chrisman officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. August 13 at Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa, Va.
