It was very ironic having received that call because it was just a little bit of time before that i had been thinking about you. I realized that the message was not for me but it was a very sincere phone message you have a heart of gold!! hope all is well..take care:)

I love and miss you so much dad. In your own little way (riddles-like always), you did try and tell me what was going on. I just didn't figure it out until it was to late. I know I shouldn't blame myself for it, but sometimes I can't help it. I have a lot of your stuff in my room. Sweatshirts, pictures, your old cassettes, and a whole bunch of pictures and poems you wrote a while back are on my bedroom door. Eventually, I want to make a scrapbook for all of them. Kind of like a gift.. in a way..

I knew Chris in High School. He was that fun loving boy that loved to get a rise out of the teachers. He was a sensitive soul. Although to many he appreared wild on the outside, he was very deep. It doesn't surprise me that he wrote poetry and loved music My deepest sympathy to all. He will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Reminising the days of when we all were kids. It's truely sad that we grew apart. All we can do is sometimes hope that we are thought of often and remember the good times that we did have! I was very sad to learn of Chris's passing. I was on my way to see him in the hospital when his niece, Deanna (my best friend), called to let me know he had passed on. Being friends with Deanna so long, I had come to know most of her family well. Her uncle Chrissy and I got along really good, as I shared his love of poetry and the ocean. I learned so very much from him. He was like an uncle to me as well. He will be missed! My prayers go out to his wife and family!

I hope the new residence that God has picked for Chris will have a softball field, a pool table, plenty of paper to write his poetry on and have a huge telescope to watch over all those that loved him down here. I knew Chris many years ago when he lived in Albany's South End. We occasionally crossed paths in those days. He was friendly and outgoing. And he certainly enjoyed riding his motorcycle up and down Second Ave. Please accept my sincere condolences.
