It is clear that Pam left a great Christian legacy from what is said about her by friends and by students even years after she taught them. That is how I would want to be remembered. Pam was truly salt and light to the world. I pray that you will remember the good times and that you will experience God's ministering presence.

Pam was a wonderful person that will be missed by many, especially her children. I had the privilege of working with Pam for several years at Griffin Elementary and she was an exemplar teacher. We will remember her fondly. Bless you Mike, Daniel and Ben.

You touched so many lives-- mine included. I remember, growing up, I would call and talk to Daniel all the time. You or Mr. Stevens would answer the phone and ya'll would never be annoyed with me; even though that was my 5th time calling that night. I remember Daniel, Ben and I coming to Griffin when you had meetings and playing in your classroom. And more recenly, I remember just dropping by with Daniel to chat or having lunch at Casa Ole. Even though I'll miss you, I'll remember those fun times.

And to the Stevens family, I am so very sorry for your loss.

Pam was always fun with a great sense of humor. She babysat our two girls in Galveston, we met at First Baptist Church. We know she is without pain and Jesus has dried her tears. What a wonderful legacy, she touched the world as only she could. We will miss that smile.

Ms. Pam was a jewel- a living saint of our times. She was sweet and open-hearted to everyone she met. I will never forget her, and hope that my daughter will learn from a teacher just like her when she gets to school. She will always be sweetly remembered and sorely missed.

Cecilia and I want to express our sorrow for Mike and the boys on the loss of Pam. She was a sweet lady and I always enjoyed lunch on Sundays after church with Mike and Pam. Be comforted Mike that Pam no longer feels the pain she endured in years past. God bless you, Daniel, and Ben. May He ease your pain as you prepare for the future.

I have so many fond memories of Pam when I was working at Camp Tyler and she would bring her 5th graders from Douglas Elementary for their week at camp. She was a wonderful, kind person with a great sense of humor! I believe that my experiences teaching her bilingual students led me to become a bilingual teacher. The love of Christ was always present in her words and actions. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her loving husband and sons. Michael, Daniel and Ben, I pray that God will be with you during this difficult time.

Mike I was thinking about your wedding and how some of us went to the wrong church and just made the wedding in time to hear you pronounced "man and wife". We had good times in San Antonio and we are praying for you and your family as you go through this.
