On Sunday, July 22, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Henry William Altheide; mother of David R. Altheide; mother-in-law of Ann B. Altheide; grandmother of Jennifer A. (Oscar) Carranza and Allison L. (Aaron) Roseberry; great-grandmother "Nana" of Megan A. Carranza and Ethan D. Roseberry. Sister of Robert Leon. Also survived by two nieces and one nephew. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, July 25, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, at Our Lady of Grace Church,15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20906 where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. God graced me with 25 precious years of memories of a wonderful lady that always tried to make sure everyone enjoyed life. Lorraine loved her family and friends and loved to brag on them. She will be missed by all that knew her. My sincere sympathy to all of the family!
