Charles Beales Obituary


CHARLES ELMER BEALES (Age 69) "Buddy"  
Of Manassas, VA passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at his residence. Charles was born August 8, 1942 in Alexandria, VA. Son of the late Claude E. and Ertha H. (Cooper) Beales. He was a member of District Local #963 and the Vienna Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Jane Louise Kennedy Beales; one daughter, Michelle Lea Peterson of Oakton, VA; two sisters, Joan Jacobs of Fairfax, VA and Sharon Carpenter of Winchester, VA; one grandson, Brandon Scott Peterson and many extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas.. A reception will be held following the memorial services at the Manassas Moose Lodge, 9305 Brentsville Rd, Manassas, VA 20112. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Capital Caring, 2900 Telestar Ct. Falls Church, VA 22042. Condolences may be sent to www.pierce fh.com

"I was saddened to hear of BB's death. He was a mentor and example to me in the glazier's union back in D.C. during the 80's. He taught us with quick wit and comments like, "how you gonna act son!" and "it only costs a little more to go first class!" I learned a lot for buddy and owe him a great deal.
