Anthony Champaigne Obituary

Anthony J. Champaigne Shamp, 65, of Beaumont, TX passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2011, at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with entombment at Magnolia Cemetery Mausoleum, under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Shamp's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his mother, Agnes DeVault; sons, Mark Champaigne, Jason Champaigne, and Eric Champaigne; sisters, Dorothy Boxie and Loretta Champaigne; brothers, Michael Wayne Joseph and Joe Bill Champaigne; 6 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Shamp...just reminiscing about the old days, when in 1977 you sacrificed the air conditioner condenser coil from your '76 Dodge Truck so that our family could go on vacation in the cool.
