Jeremy Grimes Obituary
A 2005 graduate of South River High School, an avid swimmer, Jeremy loved snow and skate boarding, boating and the art of tattooing. He was a very outgoing individual who was loved by all he met.
Jeremy is also survived by his sister, Amanda Eisel of Hagerstown, grandparents, Robert and Jean Grimes of Kensington, MD and Brenda Louia of Kensington, and his uncle (brother) Bobby Grimes of MD. He also leaves behind six uncles, five aunts, one great aunt, 2 great uncles, and numerous cousins and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday January 27, 2012 at the Community Bible Baptist Church, 509 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 at 11:00 a.m.
Having helped others in his sudden death, the family asks in lieu of flowers that expressions of sympathy be made to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland at www.umm.edu/shocktrauma/donate or Community Bible Baptist Church, Annapolis, MD.

Jeremy,
This broke my heart into a million pieces when I found out. And to think next month will already be a year. It is unreal how the world keeps turning and life keeps going without your physical presence here. I will never ever forget the way I felt about you Jeremy. We had so much fun and you taught me so many things that will be in my heart forever. We were together during that huge snow storm in 2010 and I will always remember sledding and watching you snowboard. You were such an amazing skater, my little brothers were obsessed with you! You showed me amazing music like Bone Thugs and you got me into tattoos. I know we had a falling out and things turned ugly for a while, but we finally talked and move past that. To know we were on good terms before you passed is so comforting. Thanks for all the amazing memories and life lessons. I'll always love you and I think about you every day. Sometimes I cry but mostly I smile. Because I knew you. Because you changed my life and taught me about love and compassion. You loved your Mom so much. I remember that the most. I loved the time we sat in your bedroom and looked through that box of pictures. You loved your Mom and protected her in a way that was so beautiful to witness. I appreciate the memories.I appreciate the time in my life when you were mine. I only regret being young and immature and not ready for a relationship when you wanted one with Me. I try not to look back in regret but I always will now that you are not here. I miss you and I will NEVER ever forget you or the awesome way you LIVED. You are so special and so beautiful it is impossible to understand you are gone physically. You had such a BIG spirit. Such a big heart. Thank you again for the love and mostly the FORGIVENESS. I will never forget the last time I saw you Jeremy. I will never forget the way you smelled or the way you smiled or the way you looked at Me, as long as i live. Gosh this just breaks my heart STILL. I am forever changed by this loss and I know so many others are too. LOVE YOU JLG!!!!!!! The picture of you on the kayak is one that I took. And that is how I will remember you! And i will never forget the many times you gave me flowers. There just aren't men like that these days, but your Mom taught you well. You are amazing Jeremy. simply the best.

I was so sad to hear of Jeremy's passing, it feels like only yesterday when Frances was pregnant with him. I watched him grow up into a handsome young man and know how much joy he brought to his family, esp. to his Grandma Jean and by Bobby who thought of him as his brother instead of a nephew. He will truly be missed by all. My thoughts and love go out to the entire Grimes family, Love Always, Chrissie

I'm so saddened by this. This is killer dude. I just saw you, walking down the road..How did this even happen? Its like please just shake me from this nightmare. It seemed like you were a part of everyone's life in some way or the other. I didn't meet one person who didn't have some epic story to tell about you. Summer won't be the same without being insanely tan and chilling late at night, KoiFish tattoos weren't cool until you got yours, you made finger mustaches fun, and sublime will never sound the same as it did in the back of your car.

Jeremy, words can't express how much I love you. Even though I didn't get to see you in your last years, I still have those memories of back when we were little and you used to come stay at my house. Even though we were just small children back then I'm always gonna hold those memories close to my heart. From you I've learned to keep my head up no matter what. Jeremy, even though we haven't been in touch for the past few years I still can almost clearly remember back in the days when we were little and you used to come to my house. I don't know you, but I know you are in a place where your sorrow is so deep that words cannot be uttered.

God saw you Jeremy, fighting for your life, He was right there by your side. Many prayers were lifted up and although no miracle did we see, God put his arms around you and whispered "Come to Me". Words can not explain the pain I am feeling. You were taken from me way to early in life. I know you are in a better place but that does not ease the pain.
