Words cannot express the heartfelt sympathy that I have for all of you at this time. He was a wonderful man and you are all so blessed to have had him as one of your family's anchors. I know this is a very sad and difficult time for the family, I feel it as well. However, I believe that the love that you have always had for one another, beautiful memories of Jackie Boy and God's strength will provide comfort for the days ahead. Words can not express my condolences for your loss. Mr. Jenkins was a really cool person and I enjoyed seeing him at Armn's gathering from time to time. Jackie and Jonie, I have been where you are and know that the fond and joyous memories in which you have of your father will bring both tears and laughter, embrass it all as it comes, find strength in each other, your mom, family and dear friend. Peace and Keep the Faith.

To the Jenkins family,
My condolences to you all. I had the pleasure of working with Jack back in '88-'89 at the State of CT, DOC, he was better known as "Capt.". He had a good sense of humor and it was a pleasure to work with him. He was well respected by the all, to include the inmates as well because he showed respect to everyone. Capt. Jack, may your soul rest in peace, until we meet again on that glorious morning. Family, cry if you must but not for long, because Jack is at peace. Speak of him often at gatherings. Remember his gestures and share them with everyone so that his spirit will live on in your hearts forever. You will always be in my prayers.
