Margaret Palmer
87, passed away October 13, 2014. Margaret was born in March 1927 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Turner and Rose Sims. It was love at first sight for Margaret, as she married her love Paul Palmer. She would remain in love with him for 72+ years.
Margaret was a steward of her community. She knew no stranger and treated everyone the way she also wanted to be treated; with love, kindness, and respect. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many and will be sadly missed by all. She was a Christian lady and was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church for many years. There, she also attended their Ladies Club. Margaret also enjoyed playing dominoes and marbles, crafting, beading, and assisting the elderly in tax preparation.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Paul Palmer, Sr.; their daughter, Pauline (Robert) Jones; grandchildren, Dannye Ivey, Tyrone Palmer, Letra Rose Otey, Paul Palmer, Jr. II, Kenneth Harold Palmer, Jr., Joseph Palmer, and Brenda Jo Powell; many great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Saul (Charlotte) Palmer; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Turner Simms II and John Slyvester Sims; and sons, Paul Palmer, Jr and Kenneth Harold Palmer.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Crown Hill Funeral Home , with the funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. If you would like to sign the online guest book or send condolences to the family you may do so by visiting http://www.crownhill.org.

To the family of Mrs. Margaret Palmer looking back and think of my mother very very dear close friend, a family members Mrs.Palmer 65th Wedding Anniversary Celebration and count up the 72+years today.And did I decide to take a looked she if Mrs. Margaret on earth, but she will always be with us. Sorry for your loss didn't she passed away, before Mrs.Rodena Scott? We were trying to get in touch with her around the times when mom sick with Alzheimer's Disease. Under to located at the address, we knew of. But we did visit Margaret and Paul he was sick and she caring for him. She will always be apart of my heart just like my mother and so will Paul Palmer.
May it bring you special comfort and precious peace of mind.To know that others truly care and are thinking of you at this sorrowful, difficult time.

Sorry to hear about Mrs Palmer...I've known her for years growing up on Brouse. She was a very sweet lady and always friendly. Her and Mr. Palmer made the cutest couple. I will keep your family in prayer.
