Sigley, Joseph S.Joseph S. Sigley, 61, of Bethlehem Twp., died on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Doylestown Hospital. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late William H. and Margaret (Szalai) Sigley. He was the loving husband to Sandra (Johnson) Sigley. Joseph worked as a machinist. He was a member of St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Bethlehem. Survivors: He was a devoted husband and father and will be sadly missed by his wife, Sandra; his son, Shane Sigley and wife, Patricia of Schnecksville; his sister, Donna Ruth of Coopersburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Lee Sigley. Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 12 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be Tuesday, evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, from 11 to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Joe was one of the finest people I've had to the pleasure to know. He could be tough as nails, but those of us lucky to know him knew he had a heart of gold that overflowed with love and compassion for anyone who needed it. He set an example of hard work, respect, honor, and celebration of the good things in life. I see that clearly in the fine son he raised, whom I am certain will be the same kind of father. Joe and his family have always been there for me and my family, and I'm so grateful to have the Sigleys as part of my extended family. Sometimes family isn't blood relation -- Joe, Sandy, Shane, and Trish are a perfect example of that. My prayers go out to everyone who loved him, and I know that's a tremendous amount of people. He will be greatly missed. We'll always cherish the times we had with him. Thank you, Joe, for the impact you've had on the people who mean the most to me, and on the world around you. This week we won't say goodbye, we'll just say, "til we meet again." Love and prayers to my dear friends, the Sigleys <3
