Clarence Bragg Obituary

OBERLIN – Clarence O. Bragg, Jr., age 70, of Oberlin, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, after a brief illness.
He was born to the late Clarence O. and Margaret V. (nee Christy) Bragg on July 7, 1944 in Charleston, West Virginia, but has lived most of his life in this area. He proudly served in the United States Army.
Clarence retired from LTV Steel Co. in 1983 after having been employed there for 20 years. He was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church, in Lorain, and took pride in dedicating his time and help to area schools and churches. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and always loved his time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia E. (nee Wright), children; Darlene (Antoine), Mary, Jane (Dave), Patty (Mike), and Michael James (Angie), 18 grandchildren, brothers; Ronnie (DeeDee) and Roy, sister, Christine (David) Alton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, granddaughter, Allison, parents; Clarence O. and Margaret V. (nee Christy), a sister, Mary Borden, and brothers; Billy, Jimmy, and Roger Bragg.
The family will hold private services. The Andras Crematory & Funeral Home Alternatives, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
