Joanne JEFFS Obituary
Joanne quietly passed away on the morning of March 29, 2017 at the side of her husband, Rob. Diagnosed with brain cancer just 5 months ago, Joanne showed nothing but strength, positivity, and humour in her valiant fight. In her 51 years, Joanne taught those around her to see nature's beauty as seen through her art, to learn about life through her quiet intelligence, generosity, kindness, and laughter, and how to love honestly and completely. Joanne will be fiercely missed and forever treasured by her husband of over 25 years, Robert Jeffs, parents Mary and Charles Watts, siblings Kathy (Carty), Ed, Ray, Linda, and John and their families, the Jeffs family (in-law), and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:30 at the Glen Cairn United Church, Kanata. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada (www.braintumour.ca) are greatly appreciated.

Rob, Mr & Mrs.Watts and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. I grew up next door to Joanne and have so many great memories of her genuine kindness and our shared love for animals. We spend hours in the summer sun, on our shared side lawn with Joanne's beloved guinea pigs and my pet rat. Hopscotch on Joanne's driveway was always so much fun as well, I am sure she would let me win as she was older and more mature than myself:) I cannot believe that she is gone, much too soon and wish I had known the 'grown up' version of Joanne because she was such a lovely childhood friend.
