Christopher Kelleher Obituary

Christopher Brian Kelleher
April 25, 1991 - July 26, 2025
It is with our most profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Brian Kelleher, 34, of Boston, MA, previously Harwinton. He was born on April 25, 1991, in Bristol, son of Brian and Karen (Soliani) Kelleher of Harwinton. Chris passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from natural causes. He received his Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and earned his Professional Engineer credential while working for Toole Design Group in Boston, MA. Chris loved his job at Toole, where he spent the last ten years designing pedestrian and cyclist accessibility and safety throughout Massachusetts. His quiet manner, intelligence, playful personality, and wit were his defining traits. His smile and laugh were infectious. Chris was an avid skier and enjoyed being outside. He took pleasure in playing video/board games, watching movies, and attending concerts and comedy shows with his fiancée and friends. Besides his parents, Brian and Karen, Christopher is survived by his fiancée, Carissa Palisano of Boston; brother, Sean Kelleher and his wife, Cassidy, of West Hartford; paternal grandmother, Helen Kelleher; his beloved cats, Elly and Phoebe; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol. The family invites you to join them at their home in Harwinton after calling hours are completed. To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.OBrien-FuneralHome.com .

Words cannot express my sorrow. I have so many fond memories of Chris as a little boy, when our families used to go camping and canoeing together. I hope that you can find comfort in your memories of Chris, and the support of friends and family.

Chris I still cannot believe you are gone my heart breaks for Carissa, your parents, your bother, sister-in law and cats. Prayers to all affected. Prayers of peace to you and your family.
The memories that stick out to me were high school band camp and band. Any time we were at a get together for Sean and Cassidy, you and Carissa were always present and made us feel welcome. My heart breaks and is in shock that you are no longer with us.
