Pam Earle Obituary

1943~2016
Pam Earle, 73, of Salt Lake City, passed away peacefully in her home with her son by her side on June 1, 2016. She is preceded in death by her mother Alice Eitner, father Alma Charles Eitner, and siblings Emerson, Beverley, and Jay.
Loving grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, and true friend, she is survived by her sister Sherrie, brother in law Tony, son Jeff Mathis and his wife Julia, and the light of her life grandson Cameron. She is also survived by her friend Sharon of nearly 50 years, and her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. She leaves behind many long time friends from California and Salt Lake City, who will miss her and all of the wonderful adventures they had together.
Pam graduated from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Utah in 1977 and worked as a pharmacist for over 30 years, carrying on a family tradition started by her father and extended by her sister Sherrie and nieces Allison and Amanda. Pam always had a special connection with animals, and was involved with several animal welfare groups. She was an avid bicyclist, and enjoyed going on trips and riding long distances with her other bicycle enthusiast friends.
Pam is loved and survived by many dear friends and loved ones who provided care and comfort for Pam as she bravely made her way through the last few months. Special thanks and blessings to hospice aides Genevieve, Losepina, and Ilaisaane from Danville Support Services and nurse Erika from Caregiver Support Network for supporting Pam through her hospice. The care received by Pam was from everyone truly extraordinary, and gave Pam comfort, dignity, and peace. We also thank the doctors and staff at the Huntsman Cancer Center for providing the best care possible.
A celebration of her life will take place at her home on Friday June 17 at 4:00 pm. Family, friends, and neighbors are warmly invited.

Although I haven't seen Pam for many years she and I went to high school together and then after graduating got together frequently for lots of laughs. I remember meeting her son Jeff when he was a very young boy. I am sorry for your loss.
