I fondly remember the times we sang with you and Norm at your home, and you and he doing 'Summertime'...his low baritone voice and his big hearty laugh.

Each year we honour how Norm's legacy continues in his work in various prominent venues as well as his enduring personality which impacted so many family and friends. It is wonderful to see how Jeanne has developed her own wonderful commitment to community, friends and family while also keeping his memory and talent prominently forward. In his children and grandchildren one can see the continued transfer of talent and curiosity. Rest well Norm.

We are so fortunate that Norman's work and life are so integrated in our lives. His legacy continues whether it is a work at Mary Kay headquarters or at the Santa Fe Opera. Jeanne also keeps his memory and fantastic talent alive through her engaging activities within the community. Kids and grandkids bring forth those artistic and humanistic elements for future generations. Rest well Norm.

Norman the beauty of your creations continues to bring joy and amazement to people. The wonderful Stravinsky bust was seen during broadcasts this year and reminds us of the talent we lost when you passed on. Jeanne has brought forth so much beauty from your garden as it continues to thrive. You are very much alive in our hearts.

I just discovered this page. Mr. B was my German instructor at the U of A and was highly helpful in more than just delivering the class lessons. He was kind, considerate, talented (still recall singing 3 part harmony with him and another class member at Christmastime), and skillfully advised me during a tough spot in my academic times. He was more than just another teacher. He was a friend and a mentor. It's been a lot of years now, but he has never been, nor ever will be, forgotten. RIP

Dear Jeanne,

I just learned of Norman's passing. I am very sad for you and your children and grandchildren. I remember the early days when you were buying your home at Shidoni and were first time homebuyers working with a baby lawyer. I'm glad that you and Norman were able to enjoy that property for so many years.

My thoughts are with you,
