Scott:
I (like so many others I know do) REALLY miss you so much! We needed you here so badly, but I know you had to go & are with other family members up in Heaven now. I can still hear your voice & often think of the times we spent together; we never shared a harsh word about anything & we went through a lot together! I WILL NOT ride by the old house because I'm just not that strong & already miss you so much! What's the point anyway, ya know?
Clayton's in college now! For electrical! Can you believe it? I hope he sticks with it. He's driving the Blazer now & loves it! You wouldn't believe Erika; she's 15 & in high school & taller than me & Kristen! She's such a beautiful young lady, but both of them still look like their dads (like always).
I love you very much, Scotty, and keep the faith that I'll see you again one day in Heaven with all good & no bad!!!
We all do!

Scott, I wish that we could have had some more good times like we did when we were kids. Going on vacations with my dad to Disney Word, playing in the marsh, riding 4-wheelers. You, me, David & Alan....boy, those were the days, and how could I ever forget the breakdancing contests. Everyone has their own problems and sometimes grow apart over time, but I will never forget you or all of the fun times we had. Hearing of your passing has encouraged me to spend more time with friends that I haven't seen in a long time, I just wish I would've gotten to spend more with you before you left. Rest in peace, old friend. I'll see you again one day.

Well Scotty,
I'm sure you can't believe it. You and Madison together again. I know you are taking great care of her. I miss you both so much. You've got Mom and Buck with you too. The thought of all of you up in heaven watching over me is what gets me through the day. The past year and a half has brought our family a lot of heartache; so many losses. But that is the selfish side of me...I know you wouldn't come back if you could. You are all at peace, happy, and together. One day I'll be with you too. Until then, I think about you everyday. You are always with me. Take care of my baby girl!!
Love and miss you,
Cindy

Dear Scott:

Even after a year, we still miss you so badly! I've thought of all the things I want to say, but I could go on and on. I know you understand. I think of you every day and have a warmness in my heart, which I feel is you saying you're happy & okay.

We love you, Scotty, very much!

Forever in our hearts and together again someday,

just wanted to say that i was thinking about you scott. october 29th just passed a few weeks ago and when halloween came i thought about all of the crazy stuff we used to do throughout paradise park during that time and many other times. you me and alan were quite the sneaky terrors during those years. sometimes we take for granted the time we have here, and think that we have plenty of time to see and do everything we want. i am just sorry that we had grown apart and lost touch the last several years. alan said he would see you every once in a while. i saw your dad occassionaly when he would come into town. i love you scott and i will never forget you . david price jr.

Dear Scott:

I’ve been very proud to call you "brother-in-law" for the past nine years, however, that title doesn’t really fit, does it? You are definitely one of the best friends I could ever have, I love you as though you are my only brother, and I think you would much prefer to be called “outlaw”!

Today makes six months, and I still cannot believe that you’re gone. I keep your picture on my desk and think about you many times every day.

Although you’re no longer on this Earth, I know that you are now free from all your pain. We feel you in our hearts very much alive and happy. I see you on a motorcycle jumping & going just as fast as you can & I see you in the nicest, fastest boat catching all those bass you told me about the last time we spoke.

I love you very much, Scotty, and will see you again one day.

As many others, our families have lost touch over the years which is a terrible thing because our families were so close growing up. Hearing the news brought back so many great memories all at once that it's overwhelming. I ask my mom (Nita Shelton) often if she's heard from Marty and unfortunately she has not. Often in times of loss, families are reunited. I hope that this will happen now that we've all experienced such a tragedy. Scotty was only 2 years younger than me and I will always remember him & will continue to carry his boyish charm & spirit with me. Your family is in my thoughts.

Scott was my stepfather, and the love that he showed me was a love like my own father had tried to express to me, but couldn't, he was the greatest role model i had because my father wasnt there. And i love him

Heartfelt condolences to Scott's family. I hadn't seen Scott in about 16 years, but have many fond memories growing up with him. He lived next door to my aunt and cousins, and he was always around when I would visit. He even came all the way to north georgia to my high school graduation with my aunt and my cousin, Alan. I still have pictures of us from then. Even though he was 3 years younger, I took him and Alan to my graduation party. He was always lots of fun. I will never forget all the days of playing basketball in Mr. H's house also. May you rest in peace, Scotty. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

With fond memories of the entire family, I express my heartfelt condolences to you all. The senior John gave me my first job (as a cashier at Dairy Queen on Ogeechee Rd.). I remember Lil John would be so excited to help make sundaes and flip burgers whenever he'd come in with his dad. Cindy and Bridgett were always so nice to be around. What a great bunch of people !! May you find comfort in the arms of our savior, Jesus Christ.

Best regards,
