Robert A. "Bob" Fallot,
age 80, of Waynesburg, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025. He was born September 25, 1944, in Canton, Ohio, a son of the late Glenn and Lucy (Weaver) Fallot. Bob was a 1962 graduate of Malvern High School. He married the love of his life, Betty (Meiser) Fallot, on December 17, 1966, and together they shared 58 years of marriage. They were blessed with three children, Christopher (Stacey) Fallot, Jeffrey Fallot, and Jennifer Fallot, and three cherished grandsons, Dylan Rodriques, Jackson Fallot, and Derek Rodriques. Bob dearly loved the garage time with his grandsons, where he would not only share stories of growing up, but also teach them practical skills to use throughout their lives.
Bob proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and the Ohio National Guard, retiring in 1986 with the rank of E-7 after 21 years of dedicated service. He also retired in 2007 as Foundry Foreman from PCC Airfoils in Minerva, where he worked for 44 years. During his career, the company changed ownership several times-beginning as Pre Cast, then TRW, and later PCC Airfoils-but Bob's steady dedication and leadership remained constant throughout. Of his 44 years there, 30 were spent as a supervisor. Throughout his life, Bob was deeply devoted to his community. He served six terms as a Sandy Township Trustee, where he was respected for his dedication, integrity, and fair-minded leadership. He was also a proud graduate of the Ohio Township Leadership Academy and a member of the American Landfill Citizen Advisory Council. Bob gave his time as Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 157 in Magnolia for 12 years, and as a 4-H volunteer for 40 years, most recently serving as treasurer of the Stark County 4-H Advisory Committee. He also worked as a Stark County Election poll worker and was a proud Life Member of the Waynesburg American Legion Post #432, where he served as Vice Commander.
Bob had a lifelong love for antique tractors, especially his Farmall International Harvester models. He enjoyed sharing this passion with others as a member of the Carroll County Antique Tractor Club, where he also served as treasurer. He took great pride in restoring and showing his tractors. Bob was a faithful and active member of Little Country Church, where he served in many leadership positions, including as a trustee. His faith, family, and service to others defined his life.
He was preceded in death by his foster brother, Kenny Gier, and his brother-in-law, Kenny Seemann. Surviving are his wife, Betty; children, Christopher (Stacey), Jeffrey, and Jennifer; his sisters, Pat Fallot and foster sister Shirley (Kenny) Seemann; his sister-in-law, Marian Gier (Kenny); and his three cherished grandsons, Dylan, Jackson, and Derek. He is also lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Little Country Church in Waynesburg, with interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00–7:00 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia, and Friday at the church from 10:00–11:00 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Little Country Church, 7886 Ravenna Ave. SE, Waynesburg, OH 44688. Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
