Cynthia Diane Holland, 67, of Algoa, Texas, passed away on September 28, 2025. She was born on August 27, 1958, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Floyd Edward Bowles and Nelda Carolyn (Tate) Bowles.

Cynthia was a hardworking and devoted woman who built a well rounded career while always supporting her family. Over the years, she worked as an electrician, a business owner, and later as a Safety Specialist at Memorial Hermann. Her determination and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Beyond her professional life, Cynthia embraced the simple joys that made her happiest. She loved gardening, spending time on her boat, fishing, and riding horses on trail rides. She had a soft spot for animals and enjoyed watching old westerns and Discovery Channel programs. Above all, nothing brought her greater joy than time with her grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Edward Bowles, and her husband, John Masterson Holland.

Cynthia leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Nelda Bowles; her sons, Kevin Lile (Tina), Terence Lile (Vanessa), Randall Hocker, and Daniel Hocker (Laran); her brother, Duane Bowles (Cindy); and her beloved grandchildren, Connor Lile, Tyler Lile, Hannah Lile, Haylee Lile, Scarlett Hocker, Emma Hocker, and Crue Hocker.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Lile, Terence Lile, Randall Hocker, Daniel Hocker, Connor Lile and Tyler Lile. Honorary bearer will be Duane Bowles.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., also at Crowder Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
