Viola Flegel Obituary
Mrs. Flegel is survived by her niece, Patti (Joe) Ploski of Chandler, AZ and grandnephews, Jeff Ploski of San Marcos, CA and Robert Ploski of Waikoloa, HI. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Forrest G. Pritchard, second husband, P. Harold Sorenson, third husband, Aldon A. Flegel, and sisters, Marion Jones and LaVerne Marino as well as many wonderful, caring friends.
Friends are invited to visit on Thursday, October 7, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 8, at 11 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

My Grandma LaVerne Marino and Vi were the closest of sisters. I will never forget all the holidays and dinners spent with them. Even when cooking came not so easily for Vi, she still cooked/baked away and made some of her amazing signature dishes that and she always shared with her family and neighbors. Vi was like our other grandma to my sister and I and it's difficult not seeing her and my grandma every weekend and holidays. She was an amazing, caring person. I treasure every moment spent with her, she will be miss her dearly.

I will always remember Vi as the loving companion of my Dad, Aldon Flegel. She faithfully cared for him as his health deteriorated. We all will miss her. Marjorie (Flegel) Mick, (Bismarck, ND)

I will miss Vi. She was a great neighbor that I lived next to while growing up. She and my parents were friends for 50 years.
