Richard Maynes Obituary

Richard P. Maynes longtime resident of Dracut and Lowell; 68 Lowell Richard P. Maynes, 68 years old, a longtime resident of Dracut and Lowell, died Thursday evening, November 13th, at a local nursing home. He was born in Woodsville, NH, on August 13, 1940, a son of the late Paul and Dorothy (Merchant) Maynes, and was educated in local schools. Mr. Maynes served in the United States Army, and worked as a Floor Sander for various maintenance companies in the Greater Lowell Area. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Boston Celtics and Red Sox. Surviving him are three brothers, Roger and Brian Marsh, and Bobby Maynes; many nieces and nephews, and his close friends Martha Saunders, the Ogonowski and Paquin families, all of Dracut. Uncle Dickie, Even though we very seldom saw each other You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart.The days and nights will never be the same without you. I can remember Dickey coming into the Korner Kitchen and talking to me while I was working and also we would chat while I was up for a visit to visit my mother. She lived in the same apartment buiding as he did. I know he will be missed by everyone
