Jose Aldape Obituary

Brownsville - Francisco Jose Aldape born November 30, 1944 entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his residence surrounded by family members. He was a graduate from Brownsville High School. He worked for several companies before retiring from the City of Brownsville. An Army Veteran, he rendered his patriotic military duty in South Korea during 1965-1967. He enjoyed going fishing, bowling, theater movies and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Jose Francisco Aldape was preceded in death by an infant sister +Maria del Carmen Aldape Cantu (1943) and an infant brother +Espiridion Aldape Cantu Jr. (1948) and his parents +Amelia C. Aldape (1990) and +Espiridion Aldape Sr. (1994). He is survived by two brothers Juan Jose Aldape (Ma. Dolores) of San Angelo, TX and Espiridion Aldape Jr. (Belinda) and two sisters, Ma. Elena A. Garza (Guadalupe) and María del Carmen Aldape of Brownsville, TX. Also surviving are 5 nieces, 4 nephews, 5 grandnephews, 7 grandnieces and 3 great grandnephews. As per Jose's wishes cremation will take place. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 with military honors at 6:30 p.m. and the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment of ashes will take place at the family plot at Buena Vista Burial Park on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The family will like to acknowledge his provider, Mrs. Irma Raya, who assisted Jose Francisco with unconditional and professional care during his illness. Also Mr. Leonel Puga (RN) and Mr. Paulino Bernal (RN) of Haven Hospice for their prompt response and dedication. Also, Texas Oncology doctors and staff. Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory of Brownsville, (956) 350-8485
