I had not seen Wayne in years, but was just thinking about him and how much he influenced my life and stumbled across this obituary. Wayne did not have to try to help people or try to be a positive influence--it was just a natural part of who he was.

My Uncle Wayne gifted me with half of the books I own to this day. He was a giant presence in my life and insisted I travel, read, and never stop learning. Can anyone argue with those requests?!? What a gem of a man. Simple and genius and old school and fancy and practical and detail oriented and adventurous... My sweet Uncle Wayne.

I will miss my neighbor Wayne when I walk my two little Doxies along our sidewalk. He was a good neighbor in our complex. I always enjoyed our chats when we would happen into each other.

Peace be with the family!
