Matthew Preciado Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter Jessica and her husband, Ziggy; son Matt and LaRaye Curry; grandchildren Alina and Ziggy III; parents Luis and Florence Preciado; in-laws Jesus and Stella Holguin; and his siblings Veronica Preciado, Angie Creer, Albert Preciado, Mary Lerma and Robert, Alex Preciado and Sandra, Louis Preciado Jr. and Becky, Joe Preciado and Anna, Estevan Balderrama and Kelly, and Edward Balderrama and Amanda; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Magdelena Preciado; and his brother Juanito Preciado.
The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church by Deacon Don Dickman. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, with Father Bruce Hausfeld, O.F.M., as celebrant.
Pallbearers include Matt Preciado, Ziggy Kruszewski II, Estevan Balderrama, Daniel Preciado, Jun Bug Preciado, Chuy Holguin, Robert Holguin and Mario Holguin.
Honorary pallbearers are Louis Preciado Jr., Joe Preciado, Albert Preciado, Edward Balderrama, Chris Candelaria, Andrew Holguin, Mister Creer, Sebe Preciado, Estevan Lerma, Luie Baldanado, Victor Landin, Javi Gutierrez, Ernesto Gutierrez, Pablo Ochoa and Luis Lerma.
The family will greet friends from 9-10 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, before the rosary.
A potluck reception will follow Mass at the La Luz gym.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at First National Bank in trust of Mary Preciado.
The Preciado family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services. Cremation will take place locally at PCS.

Dear Mary & Family/ extended Preciado Family and Holguin Family- So very sad and sorry for your tremendous loss of Matthew. He was a very loving & caring father, husband and brother to his family. He was also a great coach to many & whom I have the pleasure to say that he coached my daughter Myda Sena who passed on-(Feb.10th, 1999 @ age 17,leaving behind her baby son.)
