Joseph Darrigo Obituary
AGE: 64 • Middlesex
Joseph Darrigo, Jr., 64, of Middlesex passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012. Born on October 31, 1947 in Bound Brook to Joseph Darrigo, Sr. and Concetta (DiMura) Darrigo, he lived in Middlesex for most of his life. Mr. Darrigo was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during Vietnam. He worked in sales for the retail clothing industry for 40 years. He worked for Sterns in Bridgewater for 14 of those years, retiring in 2007. Joe liked to work on stained glass and loved to read.
Mr. Darrigo is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shirley Darrigo, his son, Joseph M. Darrigo and his fiancée Amanda Moeller of Middlesex, his two daughters, Corinne M. Torres and her husband Tony of Middlesex and Lindsey C. Darrigo of Middlesex. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; Raven, Kaylee, Jayden, Carmine, Luca and Angelo.
Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 10th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Rd., Middlesex, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex. Interment to follow in Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
