Highlands
Richard Thomas Berges, 21, of Atlantic Highlands, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011. He was born in Red Bank.
Surviving are his father, Richard Berges; mother, Ann Marie Berges; sister, Tara Berges; grandmother, Kathryn McDermott; grandmother, Margaret Berges; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Richard was preceded in death by his aunt, Maggie Berges; grandfather, John McDermott; grandfather, Carlos Berges; grandfather, Bertrand Potts; and grandmother, Dorothy Potts.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Friends are asked to gather at St. Ann's R.C. Church, Carr Ave., Keansburg on Saturday morning where a Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9:15 a.m. For more information, to send condolences or for directions, please visit www.pflegerfh.com.

My family and I express our deepest sympathies to Richie's family. He was such a light-hearted and kind boy. I enjoyed working with him at Chuck E. Cheese; he always gave me a laugh when I needed it! May he rest in peace; he is surely loved by many and will be missed.
