Mary, Amy, Peter – I am saddened to hear about Fred’s death. While we haven’t connected in years, I always remember the great times we had when we first met through the kids in Winsted's schools (Amy, remember the school skipping with Jessi?); when Fred joined me in Waterbury at Management Recruiters; the many, many conversations, ideas and trips (commuting and conference) we shared; and the wonderful dinners and wine my wife Pat and I shared with Fred and Mary. I loved the challenges and the philosophical discussions I had with Fred. He had a pragmatic approach to recruiting and the business he and Mary built together. It was always good catching up with him on the telephone even after years of separation. He and Mary always made the conversation we were having when we were able to re-connect seem like it was just moments ago that we were face-to-face sharing ideas about politics, business, and life in general. He was a great guy to know. Jack Bourque
