Earl Blaser Obituary

Earl Blaser 90, of Live Oak, CA, passed away September 26, 2009 at the Live Oak Manor in Live Oak. Born March 22, 1919 in Yuba City, CA. He was a lifetime Yuba-Sutter resident. Earl farmed as Blaser Farms in Sutter and Butte counties, and operated Butte Equipment Co. in Gridley, and the Willow Gun Club in Biggs, where he enjoyed many seasons of duck and pheasant hunting. He was a past President of Yuba City Rotary Club. Served on Boards of California Canners and Growers, Red Top Rice Dryer, Peach Tree Golf and Country Club, Valley Nitrogen Producers, Mid Valley Savings and Loan, Cling Peach Advisory Board, California Tomato Association and University of California Alumni Association. Survivors include Barbara Blaser of Yuba City; son, Don Blaser of Marysville; daughters Susan Pomeroy of Gridley and Julie Bidegan of Live Oak; 7 grandchildren; 10 Great-grandchildren; and a sister Helen Staple of Yuba City. dear suzy and julie, i am so sorry about your dad. i have had you in my thoughts and prayers . it sounds as if your dad had a full life like our dad too. i know you will have many happy memories. it will take awhile but you will see some peace in it. may God bless you all. in sympathy dean and kaye gough
