Miriam,
Growing up you were like a second mother to me. I cannot thank you enough for all your words of encouragement, countless hugs, your patience and your kindness toward one often messed up kid. I fondly remember countless times in my childhood sitting around the kitchen table with you and Lisa visiting, playing cards, laughing and eating pizza. You always made feel welcome which was deeply appreciated, especially since going home was sometimes a little more stressful than I cared to admit. You will be missed.
