Debbie Fowler Obituary

Fowler, Debbie
Debbie Fowler [Lancaster], 59, died February 18, 2011, at her home in Mesa, Arizona. She was born October 27, 1951, in Larned, Kansas to Fred and Virginia Lancaster. She was a loving and caring mother, Nanna, daughter and sister who devoted herself to her family. Debbie's life would seem too short to many, but she will forever be in the hearts of all who were touched by her. Her interests included family, football, golf, reading, music and she was an avid supporter of the fight against breast cancer. Debbie is survived by her daughters Missy Limon, Crissy Nyhof, Jami Fowler and their spouses, Lou and Brent; grandchildren Coltyn, Payton, and Caitlyn; grandmother Delpha Douglas. She was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Lancaster; parents Fred and Virginia Lancaster; and granddaughter Ryan Michalle Limon. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that you donate to the fight against breast cancer by sponsoring Crissy Nyhof in her journey of completing the 3-Day for the Cure or to the American Heart Association. Arrangements to celebrate Debbie's life are with Mariposa Gardens in Mesa, Arizona. General visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd from 6-8 PM and memorial services on Thursday, February 24th at 11 AM. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens (480) 830-4422. Thinking of your beautiful spirit today and remembering our last conversation. I miss you terribly but know you are resting and watching over us. The kids are growing so fast and the summer will be difficult as years past were spent at your place every weekend going swimming and having a BBQ. I love you Mom.

Deb, My deepest sympathy to your three girls. They were always first in your thoughts. Though we didn't speak daily, as we did when we worked at Cactus, when we did talk, it was as if no time had passed at all. You were always in my thoughts and I knew I could always count on you when needed. I always admired your strength, which you passed on to your girls. I hope that helps them through this time of sorrow. God bless you and your daughters and may he watch over them and their families.

If roses grow in Heaven, Lord
Please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
And tell her they're from me.

Tell her I love her and miss her,
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday,
But there is an ache within my heart
That will never go away.

Thinking of you, Debbie and your beautiful daughters, with all the love in my heart. Rebecca

Debbie, words cannot express the emptiness I felt in my heart when I found out you left us. I will miss your smile, your laughter, your contagious personality and most of all your friendship. God needed another angel...and he picked you. Although we all will question why for so long, only he knows. You will always be in my heart...forever! I miss you lady...

Missy, Chrissy & Jami, your mom was my best friend. We thought of each other as sisters and called each other "Sis". She always joked that I was the "older" one and she was the better looking one. I will miss her so very much. No one could have had a better friend than Deb. She is gone, but never will be forgotten. My thoughts and love are with all of you. I miss you Sis. Love always, Terry, Waddell, AZ

True friends are the ones who never leave your heart, even if they leave your life for a while. Even after years apart, you pick up with them right where you left off, and even if they die they're never DEAD in your heart.

Mom, this candle burns strong, as you give strength. It provides light, to guide us through this trying journey. As it flickers, you are giving signs that you are near. My life will never be the same without you in it to share, experience, enjoy, celebrate however, I know you are at peace with Doug, Poppy, Nanny and Ryan and you will keep us safe and continue to guide us as you always have. I miss you terribly Momma but I know I must be strong as you would expect nothing else from me. I love you and will miss you until I see those beautiful blue eyes comforting me once again and your warm arms holding me tight ensuring me that everything will be alright. Rest now Momma your work is done here.
Love Always,
Your Daughter- Christina (Tis as you called me)
