Dear Hayes' Family,

I'm very sorry about Richard's sudden and unprecedented passing. He truly was a good person. I had the pleasure of working with him here at the Bookstore for a good year, and I can't remember when he didn't bring a smile to my face. He truly will be missed. I wish him and you all the very best.

Dear Hayes Family,

I did not have the pleasure of working with Richard, as I started at the bookstore the year after he left, but I did spend many lunch hours with him. I remember him saying that we needed to get to know each other better, and I am very sorry that I will never experience Rich's friendship as I would have liked to. I am so glad I had the opportunity to know him as long as I did. He was a wonderful person, and I will miss him very much. My heart goes out to you. All my best wishes~

Dear Hayes Family,

I was very saddened to hear of Richard's sudden death. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Even though I only met Richard a couple of times I could tell that he was an intelligent, considerate and kind young man. He will be deeply missed by all.
