It has been 10 years but in some ways it feels like it was yesterday, I will always see your smile and feel your touch when no one else is around. You are just as loved by me today as then. One day we will be together again and our love will be renewed. Until then I will just have to keep the sweet remembrances of our love.

My life my love. You are with me every moment of every day. Every breath I take I think of you. You will always be the best part of me. I thank God for bringing you into my life. I will love you forever. Evelyn

John has been part of so many pleasant memories of mine as I grew up in White Hall. A good friend, neighbor and mentor. Not a day will pass when I walk thru the woods near my folks and John's house where he will not be fondly thought of and missed.

A Reminiscence

YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.

May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.

Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;

To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.

I always enjoyed John's company. He would stop by my place and need a little repair or couldn't get a weed eater running' Then he would always call and want to mow my lawn. In appreciation he would do more to help me than was ever expected. John's company was an asset to all. I'm sure GOD has a special place for him and will be remembered forever by all.
