Todd Methvin Obituary

Todd Reagan Methvin, 41, of Beaumont, was born on May 25, 1971, and went home to his Lord and Savior on February 14, 2013, while at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. Todd fought a very long and courageous battle with a hereditary heart disease called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Todd was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and dear friend to many. He will be dearly missed on this earth but he joins his mother and many family members in Heaven for a beautiful homecoming. Todd was a disabled veteran and a true American patriot. He was proud member of the United States Air Force. Todd was an avid hunter, fisherman, volunteer, President of the HFWS softball league and coach, local business owner of Code Blue Police Supply, and salesman for The Shuck Group in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela; three dear children, Justin, Kaitlyn, and Mason; his father, Derrill Methvin; sisters, Tanya Methvin, Tracey Shuck, and Jennifer Thillet; many loving in-laws, close aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, very dear cousins, and beloved friends. Visitation will be Sunday, February 17th, 2013, in the evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Broussard's Mortuary, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18th, 2013, in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Cathedral in the Pines Christian Center, 2350 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, Texas. Immediately following, Todd will be interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas, with full military honors. Complete and updated information may be found at broussards1889.com.
