Karl-
You don't know how much you will be missed. It seems I was at your house every night to discuss something meaningless; still the time was very precious to me as you were one of my best friends. I spoke to you a couple of weeks back about how much I admired your conviction and dedication as a parent. Your whole life was Kirstin! I told you that I aspired to be as loving and devoted father to my children as you were to yours. Thank you for being that role model for me. I have such great memories of our friendship, one of my best is when I called you over at 1am to fix a busted pipe in my front yard. It took us 4 hours, thanks to your lesson in Fluid Dynamics we created an out of the box solution. Lastly, I am so appreciative of all the times you watched over my family while I was away on business. I knew whenever they needed you you would come runnning. Your fight is over my friend, the next journey has just begun. Until we meet again....
